BEYOND THE GLACIER is a documentary film, shot entirely in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The documentary deals with the terrible conflict of the Central Asian water analyzing the complex of the Naryn river and Sir Daria that after its birth in the glaciers of Tian Shan, crosses more than 3000 km until emptying into the ill-fated sea of Aral. Through the scientists who have studied the case and the people who live off the water, the documentary reflects on human relationships with the natural environment and analyzes the future of the species within a context of geographical chaos.
