In small villages lost in the middle of the Uruguayan countryside, a small and silent revolution is changing the lives of of an ever growing group of children. It’s no other than the unstoppable expansion of robotics, a phenomenon that has awaken passions and levels of commitment that were previously reserved only to football. This film follows several groups of rural children and teenagers, some of them truly amazing characters, in their path towards participating in a world cup of robotics. The story is not presented as a triumphant string of successes but as a window into the ability of those surprisingly deep kids to envision futures, question their contemporary realities and explore concepts as the limit between machines and living things, or the need to constantly review our traditions.
